The story behind El-Za
Cord, a hook & an idea.
El-Za started with a love for creating something beautiful from simple materials. But it quickly became something bigger.
“As a working mother, I know how many different versions of ourselves we carry every day — and somewhere amongst all those responsibilities, we still want to feel like ourselves.”
The name El-Za was inspired by the founder’s two little girls: a reminder that this is not simply about making handbags, but about creating something meaningful, beautiful and lasting from an idea that started at home.

Traditional handcraft meets contemporary silhouettes, considered colour palettes and elegant finishes. Premium braided cord and recycled T-shirt yarn give each collection its own texture and personality.
